Sorry for the radio silence – August was a busy time for me, and I started working as an Illustrator at Floyd County Productions!! I’m super excited :)
I’m getting back into the swing of drawing for myself again, by drawing myself. I love my death bringer hat.

If y’all don’t know, Manga Studio 5/Clip Studio Paint (same program?) is on sale for $15 until 7/14/15. Having never used it before, I’m having a good time experimenting in between freelance stuff. Worth trying out, at least. ;)
EDIT Boop, forgot the link.

I finally had some time to do the #MeetTheArtist meme on Twitter. It took me forever to slow down my chicken scratch to something legible.
I also want to note that my current contract is ending, and now I’m looking for job opportunities in character design, background art, and VisDev in general. Preferably in the Atlanta area, but I may relocate for the right position. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Negative sketches/gestures while listening to Radical Face.
Here are some sketches that never quite made it to the light. I still like them, though…

A little Odin sketch, and a note that I’m not dead! Currently busy at work and with my Mentorship (follow hedgehogroses to see my process).
Thank you followers for sticking around and liking my stuff. You’re the greatest <3

Assignment 03 | Story Beats and Silhouettes
I apologize for being so absent lately. I’ve been busy with work, and I’ve also been busy with my mentorship with Jenn Ely via the Oatley Academy! I’m keeping my assignments separate from my website, but feel free to follow @hedgehogroses if you want to follow my process. I’ll be sure to share my finalized pieces when they come about~

I really don’t have that much free time now, but I wanted to participate in Witchsona week again. Aside from broomstick riding, my Witchsona can turn people’s eyeballs into roses and turn wine into water.
Without even thinking about it, the high-waisted black pants return (I wear them all the time in real life, so I guess it’s my default).
